Mission
At Databricks, we are on a mission to empower our customers to solve the world's toughest data problems by utilizing the Data Intelligence platform. As a Scale Solution Engineer, you will play a critical role in advising customers in their onboarding journey, helping them deploy Databricks in their production environment.
The Impact You Will Have
You will ensure new customers have an excellent experience by:
- Providing technical assistance early in their journey.
- Becoming an expert on the Databricks Platform.
- Guiding customers to make the best technical decisions.
- Tracking and reporting tactical customer progress.
What We Look For
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience. Ideal candidates are early-career technical professionals with experience in data-driven or cloud-based roles. Required skills include:
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with at least one programming language: Python, Scala, or SQL.
- Understanding of end-to-end data analytics workflow.
- Hands-on or academic experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing technologies.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
Bonus: Familiarity with Data Science and Machine Learning including building and deploying ML models.
