The Protective Intelligence Analyst will track and analyze potential physical security threats from OSINT, social media, and the dark web while monitoring emerging geopolitical developments that could impact operations. Insights drive security measures, protect people and executives, and strengthen global risk posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze OSINT streams, social media, and dark web sources to identify threats.
  • Conduct persons of interest investigations and recommend countermeasures.
  • Perform risk-based intelligence assessments for people, operations, and assets.
  • Maintain protocols to monitor travel risks and respond to critical incidents.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Security, Legal, People, and other teams on emerging threats.
  • Prepare concise intelligence briefings and reports for leadership.
  • Analyze geopolitical trends to identify risks to business and personnel.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools to enhance speed and accuracy.
  • Evolve protective intelligence protocols and best practices.
  • Build trusted intelligence-sharing networks internally and externally.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in investigations, intelligence or protection.
  • Deep knowledge of OSINT research techniques and corporate security protocols.
  • Experience with threat detection, analytical tools, and case management software.
  • Familiarity with ASIS PCI or ATAP threat assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to distill complex information into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and independent work capability.
  • Proven record in managing or mentoring security teams/resources.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for urgent events.
  • High integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Active U.S. or U.K. security clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks offers competitive compensation with Zone 1 ranging from $167,700 to $234,750 USD and Zone 2 from $150,900 to $211,275 USD. Compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, and work location. Eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and additional benefits may apply.
