Overview

Databricks is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive on the Retail, Travel & Hospitality Team. In this role, you will sell innovation and drive change by expanding customer vision, guiding deals forward and compressing decision cycles. As a greenfield account executive, you will close new accounts while solving meaningful problems.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Influence data strategy for leading retail and travel companies.
  • Allocate Databricks resources to penetrate new accounts and expand existing relationships.
  • Apply solution-based selling to create customer value.
  • Engage with executives from C-Level to Practitioner level in IT and business.
  • Communicate account strategy to senior leadership and exceed revenue targets.
  • Pioneer a creative prospecting and sales approach in a greenfield territory.
  • Develop internal and external success plans.

What We Look For

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of direct sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years selling to enterprise customers. Experience with value selling methodologies, a creative prospecting approach, and a deep understanding of technical products are essential. Prior success in exceeding sales quotas in open source, big data, Cloud, or SaaS environments is required.
