About the Web Platform Engineer Role at DataAnnotation
DataAnnotation is seeking a Web Platform Engineer to join our team, focusing on training and evaluating AI models. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for measuring the progress of AI chatbots, meticulously evaluating their logic, and implementing solutions to enhance the overall quality of each model.
To qualify for this position, you must be proficient in either Python or JavaScript, or both. Your responsibilities will involve solving various coding problems, similar to challenges found on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank, requiring strong skills in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, HTML, SQL, or Swift. A key aspect of your work will be to clearly articulate and explain how your solutions effectively address the given coding problems.

Key Responsibilities for the Web Platform Engineer
- Design and administer coding challenges to AI chatbots and thoroughly evaluate their generated outputs.
- Assess the quality, correctness, and performance produced by AI models.
Qualifications We Are Looking For
- Fluency in English is required (native or bilingual level).
- A strong detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Demonstrated experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows.
- While a current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor’s degree is preferred, it is not a strict requirement for this role.
