Job Summary
As a Web Designer at DataAnnotation, you will play a crucial role in training and enhancing cutting-edge AI models. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and improve how AI systems comprehend, generate, and evaluate design elements, including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.
In this role, you’ll use your design expertise to evaluate AI outputs, provide detailed feedback, and help refine the model’s sense of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your insights will directly shape how the next generation of AI tools supports designers.
Role Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals.
- Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance.
- Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design.
This is a growing area focused on teaching AI to understand visual and design principles. Successful applicants will first complete a general core assessment, followed by a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. Once approved, you'll gain access to both general AI training projects and specialized design-specific projects, including UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice.
- A current, in progress, or completed Bachelor's is preferred but not required.
Benefits & Work Arrangement
- This is a full-time or part-time REMOTE position.
- Choose which projects you want to work on.
- Work on your own schedule.
- General AI training projects start at $20+ USD/hr, design-focused projects at $40+ USD/hr, with bonuses.
- Payment via PayPal; currency conversions handled by PayPal from USD.
- Note: Only applicants in the United States will be considered for this role. This is an independent contract position.
