About the role
Visual Web Designer - AI Model Training
DataAnnotation is seeking a Visual Web Designer to contribute to the training and improvement of advanced AI models. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing and enhancing AI's understanding, generation, and evaluation of design work, including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals.
- Evaluate the quality of AI model outputs for correctness and performance.
- Help train AI models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design principles.

In this role, you will leverage your design expertise to provide detailed feedback on AI outputs, refining the AI's sense of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your insights will directly influence the development of future AI tools designed to support designers.
This is an exciting opportunity in a growing area for our company, focused on teaching AI to comprehend visual and design principles. Designers are encouraged to apply through our general core assessment and then complete a specific qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. Upon approval, you'll gain access to general AI training projects and be invited to participate in design-specific projects covering UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation.

Qualifications
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice.
- A current, in progress, or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
