DataAnnotation is actively seeking a UI/UX Product Designer to play a crucial role in training and enhancing cutting-edge AI models. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing and improving how AI systems comprehend, generate, and evaluate various aspects of design work, including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and overall user experiences.

Leveraging your extensive design expertise, you will critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, provide detailed and constructive feedback, and contribute directly to refining the AI model's understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your valuable insights will directly influence the development and capabilities of the next generation of AI tools designed to support designers.

This is a rapidly expanding area within DataAnnotation, specifically focused on teaching AI to better grasp visual and design principles. Candidates should initially apply through our general core assessment and subsequently complete a qualification tailored for Web & UI/UX Design. Upon approval, you will gain access to a broad range of general AI training projects and will also be invited to participate in specialized design-specific projects. These targeted projects encompass areas such as UI/UX critique, product visuals, and in-depth aesthetic evaluation, including presentations and various creative deliverables.

• General AI training projects commence at $20+ USD/hr, while design-focused projects offer starting rates of $40+ USD/hr, with additional bonuses for exceptional contributions.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide expert critique of AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visual assets.
• Rigorously evaluate the quality, correctness, and performance of outputs produced by AI models.
• Actively contribute to training models to cultivate a superior understanding of aesthetic quality and user-centered design principles.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated fluency in English (native or bilingual proficiency is required).
• A solid professional background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
• A strong foundational understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
• Exceptional command of grammar, style, and brand voice.
• While a current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Note: Payment is processed via PayPal. DataAnnotation will never request any money from you. PayPal manages all currency conversions from USD. This is an independent contract position, and only applicants residing in Canada will be considered for this role.
