DataAnnotation is dedicated to building high-quality AI. We are seeking a Risk Analyst to join our team, contributing to the training of next-generation AI. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and the freedom to set your own schedule, accommodating various lifestyles, whether you prefer part-time contributions alongside another role, full-time engagement, or periodic professional opportunities.
We are currently expanding into an exciting new domain: teaching AI Assistant models to serve as a more effective tool for finance professionals. We are looking for experienced finance professionals with advanced degrees (MBA+) and relevant professional experience to leverage their expertise in shaping how AI comprehends financial principles and decision-making.
Role of a Risk Analyst
As we grow our team of finance experts, your opportunities will also expand. In this Risk Analyst role, your responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing and enhancing AI Assistant responses to inquiries concerning macro trends, corporate finance, and capital markets.
- Utilizing your educational background and professional experience to verify the reasoning and accuracy of an AI Assistant's work.
- Challenging AI models with complex, real-world scenarios and edge cases to assess the robustness of their reasoning.
- Providing clear, structured feedback to facilitate the development of smarter and more reliable AI versions.
To excel in this position, you should possess expert-level financial reasoning abilities and formal training in a finance-related discipline. A Master’s or PhD (completed or in progress) is strongly preferred. Relevant backgrounds include Financial Accounting, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Wealth Management, and Insurance Planning.

- Projects are compensated hourly, starting at USD $50-$60 per hour, with additional bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work.
Responsibilities
- Presenting AI chatbots with diverse and complex problems and meticulously evaluating their outputs.
- Assessing the quality, correctness, and performance of AI models.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, data analysis, and other reasoning exercises pertinent to finance management.
- A current, in-progress, or completed Master's and/or PhD is preferred but not strictly required.
