About the Motion Graphic Designer, AI Training Role at DataAnnotation
DataAnnotation is actively seeking a Motion Graphic Designer to contribute to the training and enhancement of advanced AI models. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in assessing and refining how AI systems comprehend, generate, and evaluate various aspects of design work, including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and overall user experiences. Your expertise will directly influence the aesthetic, usability, and creative quality of AI outputs, providing detailed feedback that shapes the next generation of AI tools for designers.
This is a burgeoning area within our company, concentrating on teaching AI to grasp complex visual and design principles. Candidates will initially apply through our general core assessment and then complete a specific qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. Upon approval, you will gain access to general AI training projects and be invited to participate in specialized design projects focusing on UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation, presentations, and creative deliverables.

- General AI training projects start at $20+ USD/hr, while design-focused projects start at $40+ USD/hr, with bonuses for exceptional work.
Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance
- Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- A current, in progress, or completed Bachelor's is preferred but not required
Note: Payment is made via PayPal. We will never ask for any money from you. PayPal will handle any currency conversions from USD. Only applicants in Canada will be considered for this role. This is an independent contract position.
