Mathematics Teacher at DataAnnotation
DataAnnotation is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team, focusing on training and refining AI models. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in evaluating the progress and logical reasoning of AI chatbots, actively solving problems to enhance the overall quality and performance of each model.
Key Responsibilities
- Give AI chatbots diverse and complex mathematics problems and evaluate their outputs.
- Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess an expert level of mathematical reasoning. While a background in Applied Mathematics and/or Computer Science is related, it is not exhaustive of relevant fields. Specific qualifications include:
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
- Detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in core mathematical areas: arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, statistics, and inductive/deductive reasoning.
- A current, in progress, or completed Masters and/or PhD is preferred but not required.
Work Arrangement & Benefits
This is a flexible, independent contract position offering significant autonomy:
- Full-time or part-time remote work options.
- Ability to choose projects based on your preferences.
- Work on your own schedule.
- Projects are paid hourly starting at $40+ USD per hour, with additional bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work.

Payment is processed via PayPal, handling any currency conversions from USD. DataAnnotation will never request money from applicants. Please note that only applicants residing in Australia will be considered for this specific role.
