About the Graphic Designer Role at DataAnnotation

We are actively seeking a Graphic Designer to contribute to the training and enhancement of advanced AI models. In this role, you will evaluate and refine how AI systems comprehend, generate, and assess various design elements, including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.

Leveraging your extensive design expertise, you will critically review AI outputs, deliver detailed feedback, and play a crucial role in improving the model's understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your insights will directly influence the development of next-generation AI tools tailored to support designers.

This position represents a new and expanding focus area for DataAnnotation, centered on instructing AI to better grasp visual and design principles. Initially, designers should apply through our general core assessment, followed by a specific qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. Upon approval, you will gain access to general AI training projects and be invited to participate in specialized design projects. These projects cover areas such as UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation, including presentations and creative deliverables.

• General AI training projects offer compensation starting at $20+ USD/hr, while design-focused projects begin at $40+ USD/hr, with additional bonuses for exceptional performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide critical feedback on AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visual content.
• Assess the quality, correctness, and overall performance of designs produced by AI models.
• Actively train AI models to develop a deeper understanding of aesthetic quality and user-centered design principles.

Required Qualifications

• Native or bilingual fluency in English is essential.
• A strong background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
• Demonstrated understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
• Exceptional command of grammar, stylistic nuances, and brand voice.
• A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not strictly required.

Please note: Payments are processed via PayPal, which handles all currency conversions from USD. DataAnnotation will never request money from applicants. Only candidates residing in Canada will be considered for this independent contract position.
