Front-End Web Designer at DataAnnotation
We are seeking a Front-End Web Designer to contribute to the training and improvement of cutting-edge AI models. In this pivotal role, you will assess and enhance how AI systems comprehend, generate, and evaluate various aspects of design work, including user interfaces, layouts, visual elements, and overall user experiences.
Leveraging your extensive design expertise, you will be responsible for evaluating AI outputs, providing detailed and constructive feedback, and meticulously refining the model’s understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your insights will play a direct and significant role in shaping the capabilities of the next generation of AI tools designed to support creative professionals.
This is a burgeoning and dynamic area within DataAnnotation, specifically focused on teaching AI to grasp complex visual and design principles. Prospective designers should initially apply through our general core assessment. Following this, you will need to complete a specialized qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. Upon successful approval, you will gain access to a wide array of general AI training projects and will also receive invitations to contribute to design-specific projects. These specialized projects delve into critical areas such as UI/UX critique, product visuals, and comprehensive aesthetic evaluation, encompassing presentations and other creative deliverables.

- General AI training projects offer competitive compensation starting at $20+ USD/hr, while design-focused projects begin at $40+ USD/hr, with additional bonuses for exceptional contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and provide insightful critique on AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and various visual assets.
- Rigorously evaluate the quality, correctness, and performance of outputs produced by AI models.
- Actively contribute to training AI models to foster a deeper understanding of aesthetic quality and user-centered design principles.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English at a native or bilingual proficiency level is essential.
- A solid background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice in your feedback and evaluations.
- While a current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred, it is not strictly required.
