About the Digital Web Designer Role at DataAnnotation
DataAnnotation is seeking a talented Digital Web Designer to join our team, focusing on training and refining cutting-edge AI models. In this pivotal role, you will apply your extensive design expertise to evaluate, critique, and enhance how AI systems comprehend and generate design work, encompassing interfaces, layouts, visuals, and overall user experiences.
You will be instrumental in assessing AI outputs, providing meticulous feedback, and guiding the model's development in aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your insights will directly influence the next generation of AI tools designed to support and empower designers.
This is an exciting and expanding frontier within DataAnnotation, dedicated to teaching AI to grasp complex visual and design principles. Successful candidates will initially apply through our general core assessment, followed by a specific qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. Upon approval, you will gain access to a variety of general AI training projects and be invited to specialized design-focused projects. These projects delve into critical areas such as UI/UX critique, product visuals, and comprehensive aesthetic evaluation, including presentations and various creative deliverables.

- General AI training projects begin at $20+ USD/hr, with design-focused projects offering a higher rate starting at $40+ USD/hr, plus bonuses for exceptional contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Rigorously review and provide constructive critique on AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and various visual assets.
- Evaluate the quality of AI model outputs for accuracy, adherence to design principles, and overall performance.
- Actively contribute to training AI models to cultivate a superior understanding of aesthetic quality and user-centered design methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English at a native or bilingual proficiency level is essential.
- A solid background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
- A strong foundational understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
- Exceptional command of grammar, stylistic nuances, and brand voice.
- A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not strictly required.
