We are seeking a Digital Designer to contribute to the training and improvement of cutting-edge AI models. In this role, you will assess and enhance how AI systems comprehend, generate, and evaluate various design aspects, including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and overall user experiences.

Leveraging your extensive design expertise, you will evaluate AI outputs, provide detailed, constructive feedback, and play a crucial role in refining the model’s understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your insights will directly influence the development and capabilities of the next generation of AI tools designed to support creative professionals.

This is a burgeoning and expanding area within DataAnnotation, specifically focused on teaching AI to grasp complex visual and design principles. To apply, designers should first complete our general core assessment, followed by a specific qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. Once approved, you will gain access to general AI training projects and be invited to participate in specialized design-specific projects. These projects typically encompass areas such as UI/UX critique, product visual development, and comprehensive aesthetic evaluation, including presentations and various creative deliverables.

• General AI training projects start at $20+ USD/hr, while design-focused projects start at $40+ USD/hr, with bonuses for exceptional work.

Responsibilities

• Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals.
• Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance.
• Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice.
• A current, in progress, or completed Bachelor's is preferred but not required.
