Digital Assets Specialist
Join Danske Bank’s new Digital Assets unit and contribute to shaping the bank’s approach to blockchain and digital assets. Digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenised assets, are reshaping financial markets and client expectations. We are looking for driven individuals who want to engage with this rapidly evolving space, help drive strategic change, and advance a structured, well governed approach to the field within a large financial institution.
About The Team
You will join a new, specialised digital assets team based in Transaction Banking within our Large Corporates & Institutions business unit. The team acts as the bank’s centre of expertise for digital assets and as a single point of entry for initiatives across the Group. We work closely with business units, technology teams, and support functions to shape, assess, and advance digital asset initiatives in a coordinated way.
Your role
As a Digital Assets Specialist, you will help shape and advance the bank’s overall approach to digital assets, directly helping define our market positioning and driving innovation in emerging financial technologies through collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a specialist with deep knowledge of digital assets, staying close to developments in blockchain-based financial products and infrastructure
- Engage with stakeholders across the bank to identify, assess and progress initiatives
- Support alignment and coherence across the bank’s digital asset activities
- Collaborate with product, technology, and support functions on execution
- Represent the bank towards external stakeholders such as regulators, industry partners and potential technology vendors

- Experience within traditional financial services (e.g. payments, capital markets, securities services, business development, product ownership or financial technology and infrastructure)

- Are comfortable working across organisational boundaries and have experience in navigating and managing a complex internal and external stakeholder landscape
- Can balance analytical and strategic thinking with practical execution and structured problem solving
- Assume responsibility and help advance initiatives where needed
- Have strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire through clear communication (written, verbal and presentation)
- Have experience with or a willingness to learn about relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. MiCA & DORA regulations, other financial regulations)
