Defence Analyst at Danske Bank
Are you interested in working with financing increased defence, security and resilience activity? Then this is your opportunity to join our Defence Centre of Excellence.
Be a Part of the Team
You will be part of the Defence Centre of Excellence, which is a unit supporting Danske Bank’s Forward ‘28 strategy, where we have stressed the goal to grow our footprint and income, including arms and defence. The Defence Centre of Excellence is key in ensuring that we react to the increased demand on the defence value chain and understand the growing need for financial solutions to support the sector.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a profile that:
- Has demonstrated defence expertise and connections with authorities and policymakers
- Can provide market intelligence and drafting white papers on defence and security subjects
- Has the ability to connect with relevant public authorities across the Nordics within arms and defence logistics and accusation
- Can support colleagues internally and in client dialogue regarding mechanisms and barriers for large pure play arms and defence companies
- Has the ability to identify commercial opportunities from increased activity in the full defence and resilience eco-system
- Masters a basic understanding of financial instruments, offset requirements, compliance, market trends and geopolitical developments within the defence industry, with
- An ability to disseminate sector relevant information through periodic reporting incl. developments in the industry, client activity, competitor landscape and other requests for information
We are looking for proactive candidates with a customer and service-centric mindset, and who also see themselves as responsible, detail-oriented and a team player. Over time, the expectation is that you will become the leading defence specialist within LC&I.
What We Offer
You will be joining a small team working across several products areas within LC&I, interacting with colleagues with different roles. You will have the flexibility of working from home, although we expect you to be present in the office 3-4 days per week.
