About The Job

The Sr./Associate Brand Manager will be a key member of the Brand Management team, adaptable to new environments and teams, with a passion for working on brands that bring a positive impact to the world. This role involves managing high-impact projects, including product renovation, line extension launches, brand design, enterprise strategies, and daily business activities like sales performance analysis, volume forecasting, and budget management.

The ideal candidate is analytical and strategic, capable of transforming data findings into compelling stories to influence senior leaders. They will demonstrate leadership in their responsibilities and projects, acting pragmatically and influencing across the organization to deliver with excellence. This role is part of a rotation program. The first assignment will be determined upon hire and can be based in either Louisville, CO or White Plains, NY. Each rotation is expected to last between 12 and 24 months, determined by matching development opportunities, exposure to different marketing competencies, and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying key trends and analyzing market opportunities.
  • Developing strong stories to present product ideas internally and externally.
  • Exploring innovation trends in the real world.
  • Developing total enterprise strategies and multi-year platform innovation.
  • Serving as the central point for collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Building effective relationships with key internal and external partners.
  • Managing budgets in close collaboration with finance and the team.
  • Partnering with the Brand team and key cross-functional stakeholders to manage media campaigns and Integrated marketing execution, tracking, reporting, and optimization.
  • Leading critical portfolio management projects (including line extensions, packaging updates, and minor renovations) with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Acting as the voice of the business by leading data analytics and reporting efforts; performing consumer, customer, and competitive analysis; monitoring key performance metrics; and managing ad-hoc requests.
  • Overseeing P&L, forecasting, and demand planning with guidance from the Brand Manager.
  • Contributing strong points of view on media strategies and consumer targeting to guide tactical planning efforts.
  • Managing marketing activities across owned, earned, and paid media channels.

Compensation & Benefits

The base compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience. Danone North America also offers a performance-based bonus and a strong benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave.

About You

  • MBA Required or 3+ years of marketing experience in lieu of MBA.
  • 2+ years of brand management experience required.
  • Food & Beverage CPG experience preferred.
  • Must reside in the New York or Denver Metro area.
  • Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to different teams and Brand missions, driving for performance and providing business continuity.
  • Flexibility: Open to supporting various brands and consistently changing focus areas via short-term assignments.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven leadership capability.
  • Collaborative team player with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Results-oriented and able to respond quickly to changing marketplace dynamics.
