Job Description
The Impact You'll Make as a Student Worker - AI & Digital Workflow Enablement
As our Student Worker - AI & Digital Workflow Enablement at Danfoss, you will play a pivotal role in transforming internal operations. Your work will involve shifting from manual, ad-hoc activities to efficient, scalable, reliable, and secure AI-enabled workflows. You will be instrumental in building and delivering intelligent automations and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations, leveraging real company data and addressing genuine business needs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to free product and business teams from repetitive tasks, significantly improve the speed and quality of strategic decisions, and enhance the accessibility and usability of our internal knowledge and data. Your solutions will directly support critical operations, including sales cycle optimization, customer and market insights, training and content production, and advanced document handling.
Based in our Copenhagen office, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business units, product teams, technical teams, and global IT. This role emphasizes taking ownership from concept to deployment, requiring active participation and a results-driven approach focused on delivering production-ready solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build, test, and deploy agentic automation flows using Python (or another mainstream language) and open-source GenAI/LLM frameworks and APIs.
- Develop and integrate data pipelines, which includes web scraping, document loaders, database connections, data parsing, and comprehensive workflow automation.
- Prototype and launch innovative tools designed to enhance speed and quality across diverse operational areas.
- Deliver end-to-end execution, encompassing initial research and specification, coding, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with business and tech stakeholders to ensure the delivery of secure, compliant solutions, always prioritizing data security and confidentiality.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (BSc) or Master's (MSc) degree in software engineering, computer science, data science, or a similar technical field.
- Strong programming proficiency, with Python highly preferred. Experience with JS/Node/Java/C# will also be considered if accompanied by strong GenAI/agent work.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI APIs, and agent frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, Flowise, OpenAI, or Hugging Face.
- Comfortable working with APIs, automation workflows, and data integration; capable of taking a project from idea to a working script/app with minimal guidance, and documenting the solution for operational use.
- Clear communication skills in English and a strong understanding of data security and privacy when handling sensitive information.
What You'll Get From Us
- A high-impact role offering meaningful ownership, where you will deliver tools directly used by product and business teams.
- Guidance from experienced product and engineering leads, providing exposure to real-world AI delivery challenges such as data quality, security, adoption, and operations.
- Flexibility to balance your studies and work through a practical hybrid setup, adaptable to your situation and project needs.
- An unparalleled opportunity to build a robust portfolio of production deployments, including agents, data pipelines, RAG systems, and various workflow automations.
