About the Role
As an ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN), you will provide critical care to patients facing life-threatening conditions. You'll utilize advanced skills in a fast-paced critical care setting, making rapid decisions and offering compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, administering IV fluids, and collaborating with the medical team to adjust care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients through detailed assessments, care plan development, and complex nursing interventions.
- Operate advanced equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps to continuously track patient vitals and physiological parameters.
- Safely administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products, closely monitoring patient responses.
- Manage life-support devices including ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients' families, ensuring clear communication about care.
- Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, maintaining strict infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Completion of a Critical Care Course is preferred.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
