Job Description
Data Systems Specialist at Dallas Independent School District
Dallas Independent School District is seeking a detail-oriented Data Systems Specialist to join our Student Transportation Services team. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our fleet operations and employee data.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain vehicle licenses and titles, and process registration renewals.
- Manage fleet inventory and process online purchases according to district guidelines.
- Collaborate with payroll and district staff to ensure accurate employee payments.
- Perform data entry for fleet maintenance software.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and schedule meetings.
- Invoice fuel and work order costs to customers.
- Generate and provide required reports to the Director of Fleet Services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate's Degree from an accredited university preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a record meeting district standards.
- Two or more years of indirect experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer and technical literacy.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
