Job Overview
Daisy Communications is seeking a passionate and technically astute Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage both physical and cloud IT infrastructure. This role is based in Manchester and requires travel to Data Centres with your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and implement a standalone IT infrastructure.
- Design and optimise physical, virtual, and cloud systems.
- Collaborate with networking, infrastructure, and support teams.
- Install, rebuild, and configure servers in line with standards.
- Document and monitor server procedures and system integrity.
- Mentor junior IT team members and act on cyber alerts.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Required skills include advanced working knowledge in Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Microsoft Dynamics, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Experience with Windows Server, backup tools like Rubrik, and strong cyber security fundamentals are essential.
