Original Job Summary
Product Puller
Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving, storing, and distributing tasks.
- Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
- Meet specific customer orders timely.
- Maintain products separated, organized, and rotated.
- Support and report on preventative maintenance plans.
- Monitor product quality and report issues.
- Complete production and quality logs.
- Furnish accurate counts on load tags and paperwork.
- Document information in accordance with SOPs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Report food safety and quality issues immediately.
- Maintain safe working conditions and regulatory compliance.
- Follow DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and adhere to food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
- Certification and/or License may be required during employment.
Skills & Abilities:
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Ability to write legibly for record keeping.
- Competence with company computer systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Proficiency in English.
