The Role
DailyPay is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Compliance, you will be responsible for executing key parts of our compliance program, partnering with cross-functional teams to enable our products to be fully compliant with evolving state and federal regulations. This role will enable us to operate within the highest standards of regulatory excellence.

How You Will Make An Impact
- Compliance Testing: Perform periodic compliance risk assessments and formal testing of controls across the organization, identifying potential areas of vulnerability and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Complaint Management and Resolution: Design and oversee a robust program for management of significant consumer complaints, ensuring that feedback is categorized, investigated, and remediated in accordance with regulatory expectations and internal SLAs. You will also analyze complaint trends to identify systemic issues and partner with the Operations and Product teams to implement root-cause solutions.
- Third-Party Compliance Risk Oversight: Manage the compliance lifecycle for third-party vendors and partners, conducting initial due diligence, assessing partner compliance controls, and performing ongoing monitoring.

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management within the Fintech or Financial Services industry, including legal services providers and consultancies.
- Enthusiasm and Flexibility: Forward-thinking mindset and excitement at the potential to transform compliance workflows using emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). You embrace the challenge of working on a nimble team where priorities may change on a dime and urgent needs may arise unexpectedly.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations (e.g., UDAAP, Reg E, Reg P) and a keen interest in the emerging EWA regulatory space.
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to tackle complex and unprecedented challenges independently, in an analytical manner.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory concepts to non-experts.
