Overview

The DevOps Automation Architect at D2AI Labs is responsible for understanding end-to-end automation visions and use cases, including onboarding, deployment, upgrade, rollback, and termination of CNF/VNFs. The role requires consolidating solutions from various CNF vendors, creating a standardized design, and ensuring all prerequisites and dependencies are captured.

Responsibilities

  • Understand e2e automation vision and use cases
  • Act as the single point of contact for CI/CD requirements and architecture
  • Provide HLD/LLD for core CI/CD pipeline design
  • Design end-to-end pipeline workflow in GitLab covering prechecks, postchecks, and failure scenarios
  • Standardize design across different CNF vendor solutions
  • Detail prerequisites and dependencies and convert them into user stories

Skills

  • Experience in designing CI/CD pipelines with dependencies and prerequisites
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD toolchain including GitLab, Git Repo, and JFrog
  • Expertise in designing GitLab pipeline stages and jobs
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Qualys, Vault, and SonarQube within CI/CD
  • Ability to integrate GitLab pipelines via REST APIs with orchestration tools and test automation frameworks
  • Understanding mobile core CNFs life cycle management (PaCo, CMM, CMG, IMS, UDM, PCRF, etc.)
  • Preference for candidates with experience operating GitLab based CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Argo-CD is a plus
