Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, and resourceful Technical Product Manager to join our Product Management team supporting the Legal and Compliance function, based in the firm’s offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. This team is responsible for technological solutions that support critical functions in the Legal and Compliance domain. This position affords the opportunity for broad exposure to the firm’s trading, operations, and software development groups, as well as the chance to manage real-time issues related to the firm’s expanding suite of global investment products in a dynamic, constantly evolving regulatory environment.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Drive technological solutions for critical compliance functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with firm objectives.
- Understand business needs and define product requirements.
- Conduct technical design reviews and manage project backlogs.
- Monitor product usage and user feedback for improvements.
- Develop and maintain product documentation and conduct training.
- Manage product launches and prioritize features based on feedback.
Who We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of total experience (3+ years in product management, preferably financial services).
- Experience managing product roadmaps from conception to launch.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with programming languages (Python/Java) and relational databases (MS-SQL Server).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with technical writing and documentation.
- Certifications in the financial domain (CFA/FRM).
- Knowledge of financial markets, trading, and industry regulations.
- Experience with trading platforms.
- Exceptional project management skills.
