About the Role
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Compliance team in Hyderabad or Gurugram. You will collaborate with attorneys and compliance professionals to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This role offers broad exposure to the firm’s trading, operations, and software development groups, and involves handling real-time issues within a dynamic regulatory environment.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Review pre-clearance requests, brokerage disclosures, and restricted list activity, identifying risks and advising stakeholders.
- Lead complex investigations into potential policy breaches, working with Legal, Compliance, HR, and business leadership.
- Enhance the Code of Ethics monitoring program by refining frameworks, strengthening policies, and using data-driven insights.
- Assist in filing regulatory obligations requiring complex quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Work on long-term projects with development and analytics teams to maintain high compliance standards.
Who We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA/PGDM) with 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Result-oriented, self-motivated with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, high attention to detail, and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of securities regulations, Code of Ethics framework, and financial instruments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical skills such as Python, Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools.
