Overview
Cypress Creek Renewables is powering a sustainable future by developing, financing, owning, and operating utility-scale and distributed solar and storage projects. As a Business Analyst Project Manager, you will manage business analysis and end-to-end project management for software initiatives including system implementations, enhancements, deprecations, and backlog management.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document processes and identify gaps.
- Gather and validate business requirements and translate them into user stories.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and support business cases.
- Manage software backlogs and prioritize work effectively.
- Define and monitor KPIs for digital initiatives.
Project Management:
- Manage projects from initiation to closure, handling scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
- Create detailed project plans, reports, and risk logs.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and sprint planning sessions.
- Coordinate with IT, security, infrastructure, operations, and vendors.
Software Lifecycle Oversight:
- Oversee software deprecation and enhancements aligned with business strategy.
- Support UAT, training, and change management.
- Develop adoption strategies for digital tool success.
- Champion continuous improvement and process optimization.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in hybrid BA/PM roles, with proven project delivery in software implementations. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is required along with strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in energy, utilities, or power generation sectors.
- Knowledge of SCADA, ERP, asset management, or data analytics platforms.
- Certifications like PMP®, PMI-PBA®, or CBAP®.
- Understanding of cybersecurity and regulatory standards (NERC, FERC, SOX).
Location & Benefits
This is a hybrid role based in either Durham, NC or Washington, DC (three days in-office per week). Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 plus bonus and benefits including PTO, 401(k), comprehensive insurance, wellness and family planning stipends, tuition reimbursement, phone bill reimbursement, and company swag.
