We are focused on improving how high-resolution files are prepared for our Immutable Audit Trail (IAT), reducing storage footprint while preserving the metadata and verification needed for long-term traceability. This role sits at the intersection of media processing, data compression, and cryptographic integrity. The objective is to ensure that large image files and related data can be compressed efficiently without losing the metadata and verification structure required for long-term auditability. You will be responsible for improving how image data is prepared for blockchain-backed storage, making files smaller, faster to process, and easier to verify while maintaining full traceability and integrity across the platform. We are looking for someone who understands image codecs, bitstream optimisation, and how to balance compression performance with secure data retention.Key Responsibilities
Image Compression & Optimisation
- Optimise high-resolution image files for secure long-term storage
- Improve compression efficiency while preserving critical metadata
- Work with image codecs such as HEIC, JPEG XL, and similar formats
- Reduce file size without affecting integrity or verification requirements
Data Structuring & Storage Efficiency
- Design efficient methods for preparing media files for blockchain-backed storage

Bitstream & Format Engineering
