Remote Family Law Attorney
An established firm with over 20+ years in practice is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team in a remote work arrangement. This role focuses on family law, divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and complex domestic relations matters, representing high-net-worth and sophisticated clients in contested and negotiated proceedings while managing matters from inception through resolution.

Qualifications
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with California licensure strongly preferred
- Three years of experience practicing family law with significant litigation exposure
- Experience handling complex divorce, custody, support, and financial matters
- Strong background in motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances
- Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently in a remote environment
- Strong client communication skills and sound professional judgment
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedings
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and substantive legal memoranda
- Manage discovery, conduct and defend depositions, and prepare cases for hearings and trial
- Advise clients on legal strategy, risk assessment, and resolution options
- Participate in mediations, hearings, and court appearances as required
- Maintain consistent client communication and provide high-level client service
- Manage deadlines, court filings, and case strategy while working collaboratively with the legal team
