Civil Sales Engineer - Infrastructure Construction

CyberCoders is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Civil Sales Engineer to join our team. This pivotal role involves driving sales for cutting-edge civil infrastructure construction solutions within a rich territory in the Pacific Northwest. You will be responsible for setting appointments, conducting presentations, and building strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set appointments within the territory and conduct 'lunch and learn' presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, including Engineering firms, Contractors, Owners, and Municipal infrastructure contacts (e.g., WSDOT, ODOT, CalTrans).
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the commercial, engineering, general contractors, industrial & municipal construction industries.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, analyses, and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • A technical background with a strong desire to work with people and a 'Hunter's' mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or equivalent experience in infrastructure construction engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of work experience in the civil infrastructure, construction, or related heavy earthwork construction industry, or related sales.
  • Experience with EIT, PE, technical client relationship, or business development with construction products, calling on general contractors, DOT, State and local municipalities, and engineering firms is ideal.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and anticipate customer needs.
  • Familiarity with lead generation strategies and customer relationship management techniques.
