What You Will Be Doing

Designing storm drain systems, open-channel and closed-conduit hydraulics, and surface hydrology solutions.
Running rainfall-runoff simulations and 1D/2D hydraulic modeling.
Supporting drainage and flood control design for land development and public infrastructure projects.
Preparing technical reports, calculations, and documentation for clients and agencies.
Assisting with master drainage plans, flood studies, and project coordination.

What You Need For This Job

3 to 7 years of civil engineering experience focused on storm drainage, flood control, and hydrology/hydraulics in California.
BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
An active California PE license.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS (1D/2D). Exposure to SWMM, XPStorm, Innovyze, or WaterCAD is a plus.
Strong technical writing, communication skills, and ability to coordinate with agencies and clients.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
