Responsibilities

  • Supervise engagement team and prepare end-of-engagement evaluations.
  • Monitor staff productivity and adherence to work plan schedules.
  • Maintain open communication with staff and clients.

  • Contribute to thought leadership within the Education practice.
  • Address client concerns and escalate issues when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services for clients.
  • Review financial statements and disclosures for quality and accuracy.
  • Lead the team with collaboration, flexibility, and respect for diversity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred. 5-7+ years of auditing experience with independent or charter schools in a public accounting firm. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
