Role Description
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Cybersecurity Mentor Intern SOC Trainer. The role involves designing and delivering cybersecurity training modules, mentoring and guiding learners in understanding cybersecurity concepts, and preparing them for practical challenges. Responsibilities include monitoring security operations, analyzing potential threats, creating resources to support learning, and conducting mentoring sessions to enhance learner skillsets. The intern will collaborate with professionals to stay updated on the latest industry trends and threats.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Cybersecurity, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), threat detection, and incident response.
- Ability to mentor and provide guidance, strong teaching or training skills, and adeptness in preparing learning materials and resources.
- Proficiency in analyzing cybersecurity threats, risk management, and implementing prevention measures.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools, monitoring systems, and understanding the key principles of SOC operations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners and collaborate with teams remotely.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
