Role Description
This full-time remote role is for a Cybersecurity Mentor Intern SOC Trainer. The chosen candidate will assist in developing cybersecurity training materials, conduct mentoring sessions for junior cybersecurity professionals, and facilitate Security Operations Center (SOC) workshops. Responsibilities include analyzing cybersecurity incidents, guiding participants on response strategies, providing feedback, and staying updated on the latest security threats and technologies. Collaboration with the team to enhance training effectiveness and create a positive learning environment is essential.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat analysis, and incident response methodologies
- Hands-on experience in network security, system monitoring tools, and penetration testing
- Strong skills in mentoring, teaching, and creating training programs for cybersecurity topics
- Familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
