This full-time temporary co-op assignment runs from May 11, 2026, through August 7, 2026. You will gain exposure to diverse areas of cybersecurity, including security operations, governance, and risk management. The role primarily offers a remote work setting with some essential in-office responsibilities, allowing you to contribute to a holistic team focused on improving children's health and advancing science.
What To Expect as a Student Security Analyst
- Assist in security incident response and vulnerability management processes.
- Participate in log monitoring and SIEM maintenance.
- Support governance, policy, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Engage in endpoint security tasks, including mobile device management and data loss prevention.
- Help with identity and access management, including roles and access provisioning.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree-granting college program in cybersecurity, computer science, or a similar field.
- Ability to comply with policies and procedures protecting patient rights and handling confidential information.
- Commitment to completing all required training for the position.
- Availability for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Willingness to adhere to safe work practices and organizational core standards.
