What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Execute vulnerability management activities, including the use of ACAS, ESS, and SCAP tools
- Conduct application and web vulnerability assessments and document remediation guidance
- Maintain and update Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages throughout the system lifecycle
- Support cybersecurity assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Assist with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) monitoring and threat detection activities
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- 3-6 years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or compliance-focused roles
- Active Top Secret clearance required
- Experience maintaining RMF packages in classified or regulated environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Extensive knowledge of AWS Security and experience supporting DoD or intelligence community customers
- Hands-on experience with eMASS or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms, Burp, Checkmarx, or other vulnerability management solutions
- DoD 8140 / 8570 certifications (e.g., Security+, CAP)
- Experience working in classified (SCIF) environments
