What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining system integrity and enhancing security posture. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and resolve security events from multiple security technologies to ensure system integrity.
• Automate manual security processes and enhance risk reporting capabilities.
• Conduct security assessments for various alerts, including phishing and travel-related issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for security processes and system configurations.
• Collaborate with IT Security staff to provide training and maintain communication between teams.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

To succeed in this IT Security Analyst role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT security or a related technical role.
• General understanding of Security Operations, Audit, and IT Governance, Risk, & Compliance controls.
• In-depth knowledge of endpoint security configurations and management.
• Strong understanding of Google Workspace security settings, including email filtering.
• Prior experience working within a SOC, NOC, or customer support team.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Candidates with the following preferred qualifications will have a distinct advantage:

• Experience overseeing a SOC team and knowledge of security standards such as DLP, EDR, and RBAC.
• Possession of security industry certifications (CompTIA, Security+, TCM, AWS Security, or others).
