What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Assess Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessments and Adversarial Assessments
  • Review Cybersecurity packages using eMASS for compliance with cybersecurity requirements
  • Provide feedback and consultation to Information System Security Officers (ISSO's) regarding Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages
  • Manage and maintain cybersecurity documentation within various repositories
  • Develop cybersecurity education and training strategies at the headquarters level

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of related work experience
  • Subject matter expertise in Cybersecurity/Information Assurance activities
  • Experience with the eMASS software tool and the Risk Management Framework (NIST 500-XX)
  • IAM Level 3 certification per DoD 8140 and DoD 8570 within the first 6 months
  • TS/SCI security clearance required

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in developing Cybersecurity Strategies (CSSs) as required by the Clinger-Cohen Act
  • Familiarity with Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS) database management
  • Background in leading Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) activities
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance and recommendations on cybersecurity matters
  • Experience in developing processes for the lifecycle of information system packages
