What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the initial triage point for all security-related tickets, including triage, containment, and remediation
- Monitor security events in real-time and analyze data to identify and respond to incidents
- Conduct investigations and escalate complex security threats or incidents as necessary
- Design, deploy, and manage security tools and incident remediation plans
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior analysts within the security operations center
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in information technology
- 2+ years working in a security operations center (SOC) or on a cybersecurity incident response team
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and security data analysis
- Professional certification(s) such as ISC2 CISSP, Microsoft Azure, or CompTIA Security+
