Your Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute County-wide cybersecurity compliance activities and operational tasks.
- Maintain constant vigilance over the integrity and security of County networks and associated components.
- Perform continuous analysis to proactively identify network and system security vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of critical information security policies.
- Propose and recommend effective solutions to ensure full compliance with established security requirements.
What You'll Bring
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
- Four (4) years of professional experience providing analytical support, specifically in network and systems security.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid California or Nevada Driver's License.
- A strong foundational understanding of cybersecurity practices and principles.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and managing incident response.
