Key Responsibilities of a Cybersecurity Specialist

• Assist in developing and delivering robust cybersecurity requirements for product software releases and respond promptly to customer security inquiries.
• Support critical compliance and governance activities by diligently tracking action items, updating essential documentation, and preparing thoroughly for audits.
• Collaborate effectively with development and operations teams to implement advanced monitoring and security solutions tailored for product software.
• Aid in the comprehensive administration and vigilant monitoring of security systems and configurations, actively participating in crucial incident response activities.
• Help track, document, and verify the successful resolution of security assessment findings and actively support ongoing vulnerability management activities.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, Security Systems, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management systems, cybersecurity, or relevant areas, with a strong preference for specific product security experience.
• At least 5 years of overall business experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of common security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications to Elevate Your Application

• Previous work experience specifically in a product development cybersecurity role.
• Familiarity with the design principles of diagnostic equipment, medical devices, or closely related products.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes containerization and container orchestration technologies.
• Understanding of Linux commands and file system architecture.
