What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

• Assist in developing and delivering cybersecurity requirements for product software releases, ensuring robust security from the ground up.
• Respond to customer security inquiries, providing expert guidance and solutions.
• Support ongoing compliance and governance activities, meticulously tracking action items and preparing essential materials for audits.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to implement effective monitoring and security solutions across software and applications.
• Help administer and monitor critical security systems and configurations, actively participating in incident response activities.
• Contribute to remediation efforts by tracking and documenting findings from security assessments.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, Security Systems, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of IT management system, cybersecurity, or relevant experience, with a strong preference for product security expertise.
• Minimum of 5 years of overall business experience, demonstrating a strong professional background.
• Demonstrated knowledge of common security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for effective team collaboration and stakeholder interaction.

How to Excel (Preferred Qualifications)

• Previous work experience specifically in a product development cybersecurity role.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, medical devices, or closely related products within the healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux commands and understanding of file system architecture.
