What To Expect as a Cybersecurity Specialist (Job Responsibilities)

• Assist the Information Security team with security assessment and risk management, including evaluating current controls and recommending tools
• Support threat detection and incident response using SOC platform and tools
• Analyze large datasets to identify actionable insights and create reports/dashboards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine the cybersecurity program and update documentation
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Demonstrated passion for cybersecurity and information technology
• Understanding of vulnerability management and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Technical troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve complex security issues
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
