What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other security tools.
- Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to potential security incidents.
- Support vulnerability management activities by collecting scan results and tracking remediation efforts.
- Document incidents, events, and investigations in ticketing and reporting systems.
- Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and information technology.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles.
- Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and escalate appropriately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 0-2 years of experience in an IT or security role is ideal.
