Role and Responsibilities
This role involves managing assigned pharmacy workstations and ensuring prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment while demonstrating CVS Health core values of Accountability, Caring, Collaboration, Innovation, and Integrity.
- Assist patients with prescription-related inquiries and needs.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- Adhere to registration, licensing, and certification requirements.
- Work under guidance until fully credentialed, then expand duties.
Requirements
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and basic mathematical reasoning. Physical demands include prolonged standing, frequent movement, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications & Benefits
Experience in pharmacy, retail, or customer service is an advantage. Preferred candidates may have previous Pharmacy Technician experience and/or PTCB National Certification.
