Job Purpose and Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence. You ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately through the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices. You deliver caring service while contributing to a safe and inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow SOPs to support prescription fulfillment.
- Assist patients with a compassionate, empathetic approach.
- Complete inventory activities and support operational workflows.
- Support immunization services when trained and licensed.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
Required Qualifications
Meet state board pharmacy requirements including age, education, and licensure/certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with completing CVS Health's training program.
