Job Purpose and Summary
The Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacy team in retail locations by ensuring smooth operations, accurate prescription fulfillment, and exceptional customer service. The role involves following Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining safety standards and contributing to an inclusive work culture.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow company SOPs to support pharmacists.
- Manage prescription processing at multiple workstations.
- Provide compassionate service to patients in various channels.
- Handle inventory activities like cycle counts and returns.
- Support additional services such as immunizations, where permitted.
Qualifications and Essential Functions
Candidates must meet state board requirements including age, education, licensure, or certification. Attention to detail, customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to transition between tasks are essential. Consistent attendance, adherence to procedures, and flexibility in scheduling are required.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position with an anticipated 32 hours per week.
