Job Purpose and Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence. You play a critical role in assisting the pharmacy team to ensure that patient prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while consistently providing compassionate service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Follow company SOPs to support pharmacists.
  • Operate various pharmacy workflow stations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off).
  • Deliver empathetic and personalized service to patients.
  • Perform inventory activities like cycle counts and stock returns.
  • Support additional patient services such as immunizations when permitted.

Training and Compliance

You will complete a rigorous training program and meet all registration, licensing, and certification requirements as per state pharmacy guidelines. Duties may be restricted until all requirements are met.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Must meet state board of pharmacy requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; age requirements apply.
  • Previous experience (1-3 years) is preferred.

Work Details

This is a part-time role with an anticipated 29 hours per week. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and travel within the market as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
