Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of an on-site manager, this role leads store and supervisory staff, ensuring smooth operations and the proper completion of opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions
- Management: Work with store management and crew, supervise activities, and communicate effectively.
- Customer Service: Assist customers, promote CVS service culture, handle customer issues and confidentiality.
- Merchandise/Presentation: Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays and manage inventory for promotions and seasonal merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills
- Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a retail supervisor
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Additional Information
Part-time position; typical hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $26.00 depending on experience, education, geography and other factors.
