Position Summary

Aetna is recruiting for a Lead Director Business Consultant - Commercial. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and acting on Commercial Network Insights and partnering with multiple business stakeholders to ensure that Aetna’s network value is effectively evaluated. Your focus will be solely on Commercial network strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with external consultant firm partners at national, regional, and local levels.
  • Support case-specific network strategy with modeling to highlight Aetna’s value.
  • Collaborate with Network Market leaders to align on market strategies.
  • Formulate logical opinions and adjust strategy with new ideas.
  • Build and facilitate team collaboration and trust across the organization.
  • Influence resources both within and outside direct control.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of actuarial and/or health insurance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial products and actuarial functions.
  • Proven leadership and influencing capabilities.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment with strong execution skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASA or FSA designation.
  • Consultant firm background.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $100,000.00 - $231,540.00, with potential bonuses, commission, and equity awards.
